Can anyone elaborate on the fit? Will the leater stretch? im in between 11.5 and 12. Normally wear 12 in tennie's. Would like to use as everyday, But would like to use as an approach shoe on occasion. dont want to get something to small.

I bought these shoes aroung Thanksgiving 2008. I have a similar size foot as you and bought the 11.5. They fit perfect. I also have a narrow foot and they fit snug, not uncomfortable, just the opposite. I am a carpenter and wear these shoes 6 days a week and my feet never hurt. These shoes replaced my $150.00 Red Wing work boots, which are very comfortable and supportive shoes. I would not hesitate to buy these again. They seem to be wearing fine...I do not do any hiking, etc. But they get a pretty good workout on the jobsite.**I definitely agree with the advice above - I wear a 12 in Nike and New Balance, and the 11.5 fits perfectly. I actually ordered both the 11.5 and the 12 just to make sure, and the 12 felt slightly large. Wearing the 11.5 right now and am very happy.
