I have a weird question...is water easy to pour out of this?...

I have a weird question...is water easy to pour out of this? I have a fold out dog dish and when I take my dog on runs I want to be able to pour some of my water in it for him...would this work or would a lumbar pack with bottles be better?

It's not easy to pour, but if you sit on the pack and pinch the mouth valve, voila! Mini-faucet.
