Didn't get a chance to try them out on gravel trails. But they were slippery on the damp tile floors in the metro here in DC. Yikes!

I've found the traction isn't as great as it could be, and defintely sucks in snow, bu tthe shoes are great for my neuroma pained feed. I've gone through 4 pair over the past 4 years...and love them.
