Can somebody who owns this pack please confirm that it has ice axe loops? When I magnify the picture, I see lots of gear loops but no ice axe loop.

Yes, it does have one loop on each side but they are a ways up the bag compared to the normal locations at the bottom. Kind of a crappy location for someone like me who uses a 70 cm axe. It causes the top of the axe to stick up above the top of the pack. You may as well put a flag on it way up there. Oh, don't try to bushwack too much with it up there either. It'll be a hassle.

yes, they are located on the edge of the back, approximately 1/4 of the way up. (just above and behind the side pockets)
