Would this be a good hat to wear overtop of a balaclava? I'll be going dogsledding in a couple of weeks in northern MN, and I was thinking that this might be a good compliment to the balaclava, allowing for layering flexibility.

Yes, this Beanie would be a great compliment to a balaclava - especially for dog sledding.
