how well do goggles fit underneath this helmet? Would i have to get a size up to fit a beanie underneath?

no you wouldnt have to size down because there are padded inserts that are made to be removed and not sacrifice protection, a low profile tight knit beanie will replace the space that the padding inserts used to take up and itll fit nice and snug
