Kind of a confusing spec there for sure, I think it means it's stowable when packed in, like the hood packs into the pocket or something. There is no mechanism such a zipper, extra flap, buttons or any kind of stow pocket for the hood to be stowed when the jacket is worn. Adding more features like this would completely take away from the minimalism of the Quark jacket.

The hood does not really stow that well, like the description says "roll away". Honestly, it just kinda flops around, but whatever - this jacket is awesome!
