Has anyone used these for light-weight backpacking? -30lbs? Also, I wear an 11 in some older Merells...how would sizing compare?

Hey Tim,I've worn them in some foothill walking and I wouldn't ever consider them for hiking with any kind of pack. Far too low profile in the entire sole area. and zero protection up top. They do run true to size so you'll probably stay in an 11.Hope that helps.
