I bought a Nixon Rover Black Stainless Steel Watch for a Father's Day present. I do have one issue though, when the watch arrived several weeks before father's day, it had a white pasty residue all over the band. I had to get a soft brush to get it off of the band and out of the nooks and crannies of the rim of the watch and band. I would love to know what that residue was, why it was there, and did I get some refurbished watch instead of a new one?
