I know nothing about paddles, just started kayaking. Will this camano carbon paddle allow me to make the blades straight if I don't like paddling with a feather (never tried this). thanks! Di

Werner paddles are made of two pieces and they split inthe middle of the shaft for convinience of transport.Where the paddle joins ther eis a mechanism that allows you to set the paddle to any angle you desire. The adjustment is easily done even under way with the click of a buttom and resetting of paddle angle. You can play with different setting and find out what you like best.Gnarlydog
