I'm looking for a jacket for Alaska weather in July for my husband. It can get cool & rainy. Would you recommend this one or the Venture?

both are waterproof shells with no insulation, and have the same waterproofing rating...so they are essentially the same, but the venture is a little higher performing for activites like backpacking and hiking...but both are the same waterproofing and tempature-wise
