I actually put them in a sweater bag in the washer on a gentle wash, removing the inserts and putting them in the bag, too. I use a gentle detergent (Charlie's Soap). I then let them air dry. I've had mine for a year and wash them every month or so.

Hey Teresa,The best thing we've found is to pick up this kit at the grocery store called "Dryel". It's basically an at home dry cleaning kit. It's all done in your dryer and pretty simple. They'll come out clean, the same size as when they went in and smelling fresh as a daisy.
