Is this tent actually 8.85lb? The Eureka website lists minimum weight at 7.7lb. What accounts for the difference in weight? The fly?

yeah I don't get that either, it must be a mistake. I bought mine in dec/08 and it was about 7.6lbs with everything that came with it, I added some extra stakes and my total weight is still only about 8lbs.
