Can someone "splain" to me the color "system" when I was a kid we had names for colors (like blacl/grey,red, etc.) what is a 32,38,44,52, etc?????? Did I miss something?

Yes. Something rather big. Those are sizes, and the color is always black. Thus, you can get it in only "one color" and various sizes. Doesn't take that big a leap of imagination to figure that out.
