Is there any real difference betweeen the pullover and the zip up alpha sl that would be justified with the extra $50 dollars for the zip up?

well i guess its just preference, especially when it comes to the pockets and the pullover or complete zipper. the technology is obviously the same and they are very similar in weight, just 2oz difference. you just have to figure out if you want a pullover or a complete zip with 2 hand/storage pockets.
