How is the fit on wide feet? I need a big wide toe box which I am having trouble finding in any backcountry boot.

(SteveH) Garmonts are going to be the best fit for a wide foot.(DD) I tried this and Dynafit because I have very narrow feet. I ended up in these. Both were thermoformed to my feet. The first-wear problem with the Garmonts is that the ankle bone area is too narrow for my narrow foot. I blistered on my inside lower ankle bone. It hits a seam in the liner and a buckle strap rivet on the shell. This bone is a problem for me in any narrow ski boot, never hiking boots, so I think the issue is the shell.
