MSR doesn't publish the BTU ratings of their stoves like it's some propriety trade secret. All the other manufacturers do. Since the hottest, pressurized, liquid gas stoves max out @ 10K BTU's, the SimmerLite lies somewhere between 9 & 9.5K.
