I'm 5'6 120, normally wear a small, but I'm looking for something heavy duty and accepting of layers for kili, possibly denali someday. Would you recommend a size up to medium?

Jackets that are too big are NOT warmer! Quite the opposite. More dead space to heat!

I am 5'7 and 135 and medium fits well. Room for bib pants and layering but not sloppy. If you want to be warm, go bigger.

If the small fits perfectly or is slightly loose I'd definitely go up to a medium. You'll definitely want to allow for layering!
