nope, you gonna replace one bolt with a pin, if you like it to fold.

doesn't look like it. It looks like it folds down out of the way so you can get in to the back of your vehicle, but does not fold up. Check this link out, it has a whole video on this rack that may give you some answers.http://www.etrailer.com/tv-demo-thule-4-bike-carrier-TH956.aspx
