What does the SL stand for? In other words what is the difference between the SubZero SL hooded down jacket and the SubZero hooded down jacket?

The SL laminate in this jacket is great in that it protects the down from melting snow and light precipitation, and helps windproof the fabric. It is a little heavier because of it, but it makes it that much better as an outer layer. Hope that helps!

There is only a SubZero SL Hooded Jacket. There is also a SubZero Jacket but it is not hooded. SL stands for 'Storm Light'... and references the fact that we use a Conduit laminate in the shell fabric of the jacket. This makes the jacket extremely weather resistant and aids in warmth as a result. Hope this helps!
