Hi... I am currently researching ski racks. I have a Volvo SUV XC 90 with factory racks. Do I need to purchase cross bars in order to use the Thule Universal ski rack? Are there ski racks that mount to any car without the additional cost of cross bars? Thanks.

yes, you will need to purchase cross bars if you do not have cross bars already.
