Is there a heart rate monitor that can be used to train and get fit on a stationary bicycle? What one do you suggest?

If you are only tracking heart rate and not speed, cadence, etc. then go with something a bit less expensive like the RS100. You can upload results to your computer and track your progress as well as using it for other activities. If the stationary bike is similar to to what you find in a gym it really isn't worth the trouble setting up the system on that kind of equipment. If the stationary bike is a bike that you can ride on the road and you are using it on a trainer then you could use something like this.
