Cold water, gentle cycle, mild detergent, and you should be fine. The burly nylon doesn't really pick up dirt though so you'll wash it between never and hardly ever.

Go ahead, but I personally wouldn't. Might damage the buckets and seam sealing. Okay, don't do it then.
