Could you tell me what a "drop" door is? In the pictures of the older versions of this tent, it looks like it's a 1/2 door - does it cover the whole vestibule?

km,A drop door is a door without a zipper along the bottom (imagine the door opening like a drawbridge hinged on the bottom). I don't fully understand your question regarding the vestibule. The fly only covers the mesh parts of the tent. It's design creates two small vestibules (4 square feet) on both sides, these vestibules are not fully covered (see product images).
