Gamma SV is the earlier model of the AR. The Gamma SV is made in Canada and I believe the AR is made in China. They changed the designation because SV typically means high loft or the more expensive model. Ar means low loft. Also they don't offer the Crocodile color. I have this jacket its very nice. Made really well.
