Does the saw bounce around inside the handle when you are chopping wood with the axe? I read that magnets hold the saw in place, but I'm curious how secure the saw is when the axe is actually being used.

Gerber recommends that you take the saw out of the handle while you use the axe, that makes sure it doesn't fly out on accident and if the handle fails in any way the saw isn't in there to make the matter worse.
