Anyone know whether the sleeves on these are longer than the ones on the Icebreakers that DON'T have thumb loops and if so by how much? I'm not clear as to whether loops are just there to help you keep the sleeves from bunching when you are getting dressed, or are you supposed to go about with the sleeves attached to your palms all day.I imagine having the shirt sleeves inside of your glove palms could be problematic at times (tight gloves...eating a juicy burger...j.k.)

Yes they are quite a bit longer than the icebreakers without thumb holes (like two inches). I do usually just leave the thumb loop on most of the day depending on what I am doing like you mentioned.
