Would these be a good pair of pants to go backpacking in Colorado in august? Or are they too warm?

I agree with everything Jon said. Sturdy pants but will become cumbersome when soaked.

Depending on the weather and your altitude, these should be fine.----------------------The Run Out Pant is a heavy weight cotton pant. It's not good for rain or bad weather... but, if the weather is good they are a durable and great pant.
