Has anyone seen this beacon break after smashing against a cliff wall, or some other hazard that regularly occurs in avalanche scenarios?

Just last week i took a bad fall in deep pow while wearing this beacon. I had just planted my pole to initiate a turn and got thrown by some bumps under the powder. I landed directly on the beacon with all my body weight square on the butt of my pole grip. It knocked the wind out of me and I'm pretty sure I have a cracked or badly brusied rib, but not a thing happened to the beacon. Damn thing saved my live without anyone having to switch to search mode! It's pretty bullet proof if you ask me.

I got slammed into some trees one time with this beacon on, broke 3 ribs, but I was saved because it keep transmitting... I do not think this beacon is any more likely than any other beacon to break in the case of being slammed up against some hard object while being carried in an avalanche.
