Chris,The center height with the GoLite poles is 73 inches. This can vary depending on how you set the shelter up. Instead of the GoLite poles you can substitute for trekking poles or anything similar to one. Check out http://cache.backpackinglight.com/backpackinglight/user_uploads/1214848975_06531.jpgAs for bulkiness, this shelter weighs in at what 2-3 person tents weigh, so it provides minimal weight and bulk. It terms of vents, it does not have any. If you are just pitching the shelter condensation shouldn't be as big of an issue because there will be better air circulation.Just so I am clear, this is a tent that is geared to the ultralite / more experienced enthusiasts.
