I am a 5ft 3in orienntal lady and will be travelling in South America this fall. Would this bag be too big and heavy for me? Please advise.

Hi Nancy,If you're fairly strong you should be fine. It carries pretty well so that's going to aide in the hauling process, but really you should be okay as long as you are even average strength.
