Jane,I have had a lot of difficulty fitting kid's in Keen sandals. With that being said, I would recommend a size 3 in a youth size. Take a look at http://www.backcountry.com/store/KEN0088/KEEN-Newport-H2-Sandal-Kids.html there is a nice purple color in size 3.Mahalo, Sumo
