Hello,The women's version is based of the men's and very similar. The heel has a little more padding to create a tighter fit around the achilles tendon. Around the ankle and lower calf the w will be more snug and tighter fitting. Other then that the construction and everything else is almost identical. Hope that helps.Mahalo, Sumo
