My goggle use is with a snowmobile helmet--sort of motocross style--and I use this combination nearly every day in Arctic Alaska where I live. I've always used Scott Voltage thermamax, 89is, etc. Presently I'm excited about the advantages of the "giant spherical" goggles. Will the POC Lobes, Smith I/Os, and or Electric EG2s fit in these helmets?

I would guess they would fit fine, but your best bet would be to try them on. But you could always return them to backcountry if they don't work out for you.
