what color of light provides the The 3-watt center bulb, is it WHITE like the one produced by the leads or is yellow like regular bulbs. I use it for wildlife and the eyes of the animals are not seen (reflected) if you use WHITE light. The solaris rechargeable model that you dont have anymore has yellow and white light. thanksw

I agree with Angus again (he's the truth people)...I've got a great pic (would look crappy uploaded but it's funny for me) of a Moose with my light on him & all you can see is the reflected eyes of the beast...plus everytime my mutts are waiting for me at night I look forward & see their eyes reflected for sure...they look like zombie dogs, maybe yellow is better but white certainly reflects also!

It's more yellow than the side LEDs, but it's still an LED. I have to call BS on your wildlife claim. I used this headlamp in Yellowstone for 3 weeks and most recently at Red Rocks, and it reflected animal eyes on both settings just fine. Wolves, bears, coyotes, my dog, bison, moose, elk, pine marten, pretty much everything.
