I live in Washington and I have both. I must say the Nuptse is definitely warmer (800-Fill vs 550-Fill). It's definitely bulkier too. We had a pretty cold winter, and had snow for 2 weeks last year. I had the choice of the Aconcagua or the Nuptse, it sure kept me warm. In my opinion the Aconcagua is comfortable from the range of 40 degrees to 55 degrees. The Nuptse, the temps can go lower. The great thing about these two, you can zip into most North Face shells, at least the newer ones.

This is 4 ounces lighter with a lower fill count, so it's not nearly as warm. It's also heavier fabric and has less pockets. It's also 60 bucks cheaper. I'd still get the Nuptse.
