I have never snowshoed before and I am interested in starting. Do you wear hiking boots with the snowshoes? Or is there a specialty boot or snowboarding boots? Thanks

Whatever you want to hike in works. If you might encounter ice, you will want to carry crampons that fit your boots, also.
