I have heard that the NF sizing chart for boys is off and that the jackets run smaller than what the chart suggests for height/age. Has anybody needed to buy up a size from what the NF chart suggests?

Yea, TNF sizing chart is a big trick not only for boys, but for girls and women also. The best you can do to avoid dissapointment and twice paid shipping cost is to go the the store and try in person the model you wanna by online. My 5 y.o. son is small build for his age, but his TNF Denali is in sz.XXS, his TNF Boundary Triclimate is in sz.XS, his McMurdo in sz.XS is SO HUGE on him, so i guess he will wear it in 2-3 years, Glacier fleece pants in sz.XXS are right for length, but too small for waist, Short Sleeve tee in sz.XS is great, Long Sleeve Tee in sz.XS is HUGE... i can continue endless...
