Sumo,I will be backpacking the Canyon for those 4 days. I have tried on numerous boots at outdoor stores and haven't found anything comfortable enough. I am guessing that these aren't good for backpacking because of the ankle support?Thanks,Alan

Alan, You will definetly want a boot with more ankle support.What boots have you tried? Do you remember the name / models? What do you wear for your everyday shoes? Size and styles?How would you describe the shape of your feet? Are you feet currently sore or get sore easily? In what way are the shoes uncomfortable? Mahalo, Sumo
