Is their much noise on the highway with this thule. I intend on purchasing one. I also purchased cross bars from the dealer for my 2003 Tahoe roof rack that don't come standard anymore. I had strapped a fabric luggage rack to the long bars and the noise was unbearable. We had to pull over and take it off. Will this do the trick??

I have a Subaru Baja and I haven't had any issues with excessive noise, you can definatly tell its a little noisier but its not bad. I think this is probably one of the less noisy boxes out there however you are still mounting a box to your roof and you will have some extra noise.
