I'm 6'2'' and ~ 205lb. I ski 174 K2 PE's, a little short I know, but it's working out for my everyday ski. I'm looking to get something bigger and more as an east coast powder ski, but something I could potentially ski everyday> My PE's are getting fixed, and I was in the market anyways for a new ski....Is this ski too much for east coast? I'm not the best on the mountain, but I handle my own. I like skiing trees, so I need the ski to be relatively quick. Would like it to bomb groomers and choppy stuff, and I do some limited stuff in the park. Is this a good fit? Also, should I go the 189?

The 189 might be a little much for east coast, especially if you aren't super experienced on the mountain. The 179 might be a better option, because of the quicker turning the trees, and the swing if you want to take it into the park. But this ski is definitely an all mountain ski, that can handle everyday skiing on groomers or in pow.
