Does this jacket run true to size? Probably wouldn't need too much underneath but wonder how roomy it might before a size 6 woman. Thanks.

I would say it runs true to size. I'm a size 6 as well and bought a medium because I wanted to be able to fit some of my bulkier sweaters underneath and it is perfect. A small would have worked as well but I would not have been able to layer as much so I guess it depends on what you want to use it for. It is a great jacket and very warm...we had some -20 +/- wind temps in SE Wyoming earlier this week and I was nice and warm.
