I was looking for something that would simulate ski wax without all the cost and hassel of ironing but are confused from what these products say. I used to use something years ago that, granted you had to re-apply every moring but was very easy to use. Can you clarify what these products here are talking about and if they are what I am looking for?

Klister wax or in this case, base prep for Klister is for Grip on classic style nordic skis. This is applied in the kick zone (the middle) of the ski. If you want glide wax that can be applied without ironing try one of these:http://www.backcountry.com/store/TOK0007/Toko-Express-Blocx-Rub-on-Wax.htmlhttp://www.backcountry.com/store/TOK0006/Toko-Express-Pocket-Universal-Liquid-Fluoro-Wax.htmlDakine has a few but I don't have any experience with that brand.
