1. Same thing, just on different bike sites.2. 140mm or 160mm Avid will probably work unless you can find Shimano from previous years.3. Would be cool, but no.4. brake lines are cheap. Fittings/Volume can be specific. Buy the right lines.5. Yes, as long as you get the right size.
