I have 3 prs of Mountain Hardware pants. Even by their own standards, I would consider these low-waisted pants. The pockets sit low on the rear too, but are comfortable.

The rise is listed as regular, but I found these to fit about an inch lower than most of Mountain Hardwear's "regular" rise pants.

Meaning do they have a low rise or a high rise? Not sure what you mean. If you are wondering about the rise of the waist then I would say that they are a medium rise. Hope that helps.
