My husband bought a pair of Vasque Clarion GTX 2 winters ago. He only wears them in the winter on his job delivering mail. The other day while on the job the sole on one of the boots came lose and pealed back to the heel. Shouldn't the warranty cover a problem like this for more then a year? The boots are not woren or damaged in any way. The other boot is in great shape. What would have caused this problem?

Hey Marianne,First, where did you buy them? That does seem a little fishy that only one would peel up like that. It could be caused from kicking something or stubbing the end of the boot on something but it doesn't sound like a normal wear and tear issue. If you bought them from backcountry.com....you know their return policy so you're covered. If you bought them somewhere else I'd recommend contacting Vasque and have them help sort it out. They're great people to work with and seem to be very understanding with issues like this. Hope that helps.
