I like this jacket, but I'm concerned about the sizing. ...

I like this jacket, but I'm concerned about the sizing. I'm 5'7 , 135. Usually, I'm a medium, but these women make it sound like I should get a large. I do like my jackets to cover my butt.

Yeah, I would most def get the large. I am only 5'1" and my size M Burton Jacket doesn't completely cover my butt ...basically, it hits me right below the hips. This has been one of biggest gripes w/ Burton. I love how the very light weight design keeps me warm & way dry ...but if you hit the snow just right, then the snow is coming in (^o^) Anyhow, just for comparison reasons I usually take a S-M depending on cut in Oakley, Roxy, Volcom(my other jackets), but might even consider going L in Burton next time! ...especially if you like that "baggier" look or want to have space in that interior goggle pocket. Hope this is helpful ...stay safe out there!
