hi i am thinking about purchasing this camera and am wondering if the vio sold here comes with the top of the helmet mount and also if the camera comes with a wide angle or regular angle. if so, what is the best angle for backcountry skiing?

The reason you want a wide angle is to reduce the effects of video bounce as you capture the video. The wider the video, the less apparent camera movement the view will see later on, and thus your video will be less nausea-inducing to your audience. You can buy a 70° angle head from VIO if your mount is stabilised instead of being head mounted, or you keep your head movement to a minimum.

not sure about the helmet mount, but i use mine skiing and you definitely want the wide angle lens.
