I’m about the same built as you, and I chose a large. Medium will fit over a T-shirt or a nylon base layer, anything more will be a tight fit.

I'd go with a medium for a nice athletic fit. I think you'd be swallowed up in a large unless you plan on continually wearing numerous layers beneath.
