The description says it is brushed fleece, is it truly a fleece lining. I am looking for warmth as well as wind stopping and I love the idea of a hidden hood for those extra bad days.

Yes, it is a thin fleece lining. However if you are looking for something that is warm, I would suggest another jacket. While it is wind stopping, the thin lining does not provide much in the way of warmth. I hope this helps.
